Positon: Marketing Manager

Location: Shanghai

 

Overall Purpose

Define and lead the overall strategic marketing and commercialization activities to drive growth and innovation opportunities for CP China business.

 

Core Responsibilities

1.Define Value (Market Knowledge): external trends and influences/buying factors, analyze available and addressable market (market size) competitor (share, position) and customer (value chain) data, recommend strategic direction.

2.Segmentation & Targeting: Develop business case and hypothesis, conduct research and voice of customer (VOC) input and develop innovative solutions and targeting tools, validate solutions, profile customers and develop customer insights, select and prioritize segments

3.Create Value (Value Proposition & Pricing): Define positioning, create differentiated validate value propositions, innovate and create solutions, design and develop value-based pricing strategy

4.Deliver Value (Commercial Activation): Design and develop customer experience (i.e. branding, thought leadership), collateral material for use in the Field and manage any external presence (e.g., trade shows, technical papers, conferences, advertising opportunities, website), develop resource allocation plan (ie sales and channel strategy), drive cross-functional alignment to support launch, launch external programs/education programs/tools, measure impact (revenue, margin, growth, share) and improve performance to drive change.

 

Qualification

·Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business

·MBA or advanced degree will be a plus

·8+ years experience in commercial, marketing, or product management experience with senior-level reporting responsibility

·Strong Marketing functional domain knowledge and analytical skills

·8+ years Construction industrial sector experience

·Business development skills and an entrepreneurial spirit

·Strong digital media skills
